I have been racking my brain trying to come up with a weekend since Christmas where I have not been busy and had time to just spend time with family and friends and….. nope, not one. Thank God for the extended weekend because it gave me something I was desperately in need of. On Saturday Diana and I drove to Connecticut to see her brother graduate from the University of New Haven. Then it was back in the car for a 3 and a half hour drive to Saratoga where I grew up to spend our traditional family weekend together. On Sunday, I helped my father get some work done on my grandmother’s new deck he is building for her and then it was play time with Fitzy and the Powers family on the (UPPER) Hudson River his father’s new pontoon boat. I capped the weekend off with a drive with my father to see my brother’s grave at the Saratoga National Cemetery along with his battle buddy, Nathan P. Brown.
Here are two of the boating trip pictures… SEE THE REST HERE
