I shot my last wedding of the year on Friday in Bronxville for Aileen and Charles. They had a traditional wedding at St. Joseph’s church and a fantastic ceremony at The Womens’ Club. Everyone enjoyed the day and it was in large part to my co-shooter. I just can’t call Jerome Braga an assistant since he has been my biggest teacher in these past four months of shooting;)
When I think about it, it amazes me how far my craft has come in only four months of professional work… The years of shooting for enjoyment can’t begin to prepare you for what comes when you shoot your first few weddings. A lot of credit goes to those brave people who agreed to trust me take what will likely become their most prized possessions. Equally, my teachers (those who have given me guidance, advice and inspiration) and my wife who has patiently stood by through the countless hours on top of my day to day job while I both shoot and edit.
Here are a few images from Aileen and Charles wedding…
